Martial arts as a leisure sporting activity

The thesis deals with martial art as a free time activity. It explains the difference between martial art, combat sport and self-defense. It describes the chosen martial arts - kung-fu, taekwon-do, karate, judo, aikido and caopeira. It lists the basic characteristics of individual martial arts and historical development, used fighting styles and techniques. It describes the levels of technical skill and competitive disciplines. It deals with the moral aspect of every martial art, its influence on the psychological and moral side of an individual, pedagogical influence of a master or a trainer on its pupil. The thesis compares the chosen martial arts from the technical, competitive and spiritual side. Martial arts have positive affect on the formation of personality of individual, supports harmony of both spiritual and physical aspect and so they can find suitable application in free time activities.
Endurance and strength - speed determinants of kickboxing performance

Title: Endurance and strength-speed determinants of kickboxing performance Objectives: The aim of the work is based on current scientific knowledge to define some of the conditioning determinants influencing sports performance in kickboxing and thus determine the profile of the elite kickboxer. Methods: A systematic literature search was conducted using the Google Scholar, ScienceDirekt, Web of Science and ResearchGate databases. The work included studies and literature in the field of general sports training and martial arts, especially kickboxing, which evaluated the somatic and conditioning factors of sports performance. Results: A total of 37 studies dealing with the above-mentioned issues in kickboxing or similar combat sports were used. Based on the literature search, somatic factors, endurance, force and speed factors were defined and described. The average amount of body fat of kickboxers was found (8.1-12.4 %), as well as the fact that kickboxers have predominantly mesomorphic features of the somatotype. VO2max of elite kickboxers is in the range of 47.65-62.7 ml∙kg-1 ∙min-1 and anaerobic capacity in the range of 6.1-10 W∙kg-1 for lower limbs and 3.6-6.1 W∙kg-1 for upper limbs. Measuring of customers satisfaction in Celebrity boxing place

Topic: The evaluation of customer satisfaction at CELEBRITY BOXING PLACE. Objectives: The main goal for this thesis is to define the current client base with a high emphasis on finding overall weak points in customer satisfaction concerning offered services of Celebrity boxing place in order to find new ways of possible improvements and increasing the client base in the future. Methods: The first method used is paper questionare that was given to current clients visiting Celebrity boxing place on a regular basis. This method is followed by sending evaluation emails to former clients. The analysis of those results will be the key factor for forming a variety of recomendations for CELEBRITY BOXING PLACE in the future. Results: The current base of loyal clients proved to be large and still growing due to high quality of offered training sessions, profesional attitude towards clients and friendly atmosphere. Design and verification program of sports training in kickboxing

One of the goal of this bachelor work is to present this martial art to the narrow public and to the advanced practitioners. Further to show possibilities and options of training, because there is a lack of literature dealing with long-time training programme for full contact fighting sports. Main goal is to suggest and evaluate the training program for the kickboxing advanced. This training program should improve a level of the general and special physical fitness of the selected group over a given period. The theoretical part was mainly made by the written source analyzing method. This part includes the characteristic, the origin and the evolution of the kickboxing, the sporty training theory, the training unit structure and the techniques teaching method. There was used the method of testing and measuring in the practical part. The measured results of the research can provide some recommendation for the training practice.
